Do you think you cannot take advantage of the benefits of yoga if you have a health problem, flexibility issues or joint or back pain? Yoga classes are appropriate for all fitness levels. You will learn basic poses during classes and gradually progress to more difficult poses.
If you practice yoga faithfully, you may just be surprised at the improvement in your flexibility after just a few weeks. If you are concerned about your ability to perform certain poses, your yoga instructor can modify them to make them easier and more comfortable for you.
A meta analysis of the effect of yoga on low back pain discovered that yoga had a medium to large effect on functional disability and pain.
